In order to get players excited for the 2024 season we needed to do more than just introduce the new Outlaw weapon. We reminded players what they love about VALORANT: the agents, the power fantasies, the music, the style, and the story.
This project was completely written on the publishing side as there was no specific narrative for the beginning of the year.
We had a series of secondary goals with this piece. Give players background on two of their favorite agents, Viper and Omen. Give Cypher the launch trailer he never got on launch. Set the foundation for the agents and map introductions later in the year.
